STOP AND SMELL THE UPCOMING FLOWERS

The new stoplight on Mainstreet is complete, but more changes are coming to enhance safety including a new right turn lane at the Mainstreet/Victorian Drive (east) intersection, pavement repairs, and additional landscaping.

The project will ease the flow of traffic in the area. This is just one of the projects that have been completed since the fall of 2021 through the Town of Parker’s Downtown Safety and Circulation Improvement Project. The goal and results are a more walkable downtown for pedestrians and improved traffic flow in the area.


ADDING SOME OOMPH TO O’BRIEN

We’re making improvements to the Southern Edge of O’Brien Park to improve the gateway to downtown Parker. We’re focusing on a user-centric design that will increase pedestrian safety while blending more cohesively into Downtown Parker. Plans include seat walls, new landscaping, and metal structures to create a more enclosed space that promotes gatherings and creates a more comfortable space for park users.
