Wolf Chiropractic FLIP Success Story
Wolf Chiropractic has been operating since 1991 and is frequently voted as the best chiropractor in Parker. Due to its location along Mainstreet in the Parker Central urban renewal area, the practice was eligible to participate in P3’s Façade and Landscape Improvement Program (FLIP).
Problem:
The exterior of the Wolf Chiropractic office was overdue for landscaping improvements. Wolf Chiropractic wanted to invest in a landscaping project that would install a more visually appealing separator between the office and adjacent parking lot. Even though the project was a long-term investment in the business, it was still a tremendous expense for a small business to fund.
Solution:
The FLIP grant program was established to help fund the sometimes-costly price tag that comes with improving the overall look and curb appeal of a business, and the program helped offset the cost of the landscaping project in which Wolf Chiropractic wanted to invest. The resulting project laid rock in a formally barren area, installed a brick liner and added an ornate iron fence.
Results:
Now, the business has a more aesthetically pleasing and professional separator between the business property and the public parking lot that is located next door. Projects such as this demonstrate how customers are more likely to frequent businesses that maintain a more aesthetically pleasing appearance. This action also inspires neighboring businesses to improve their exteriors as well, creating a more welcoming environment overall.

P3’s Façade and Landscape Improvement Program is available for commercial buildings located in Parker’s three Urban Renewal Areas. FLIP is a reimbursement grant program that is administered twice a year, in January and June, on a first-come, first-serve basis and is subject to annual Authority funding. P3 can help fund design, construction and improvement costs incurred after grant approval as a component of the construction project. This is a matching grant program, which requires a 1:1 match by the applicant and the maximum grant is $6,250.
