ART IN MUNDANE PLACES

PARTNERSHIPS BRING ART TO LOOKED OVER STRUCTURES

A partnership between the Town of Parker’s Cultural Department, Public Works Department, CORE, P3, and Art in Public Places Committee have begun wrapping utility boxes in downtown Parker with art to add some brightness in these previously mundane spaces.

A total of 12 utility boxes will be wrapped over the course of the year, with the first four installed downtown! The wraps will bring both art and education to Parker, sharing history in the community and more!

PIKES PEAK AND TOWN & COUNTRY SIDEWALKS

The Town & Country Village Sidewalks and Landscape Improvements is the latest Capital Improvement Project to wrap up in Parker. Pedestrians will find widened sidewalks increasing safety in the area, as well as some much-needed landscaping in the area.

At Pikes Peak Drive, pedestrian improvements continue! The cement for new sidewalks has been poured with new sidewalk ramps and crosswalk improvements installed, and power lines have been moved underground. The project will continue through fall 2023 and includes better street drainage, better pedestrian lighting, and more!
